FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Common questions on licensing, deployment, customization, and what Clearline is and is not. If your question is not here, email info@clearlineadvisors.ai.
Product
Is Clearline software, content, or services?
It is a licensable system. The Framework is structured content. The PMO Delivery Desk is a deployment pattern with templates and tooling. The Agent is a Copilot Studio configuration. Install and Run With Us are practitioner-led engagements.
Can I license one pillar without the others?
Each pillar is independently licensable, but we will tell you honestly if the sequence does not fit your situation. Deploying the Agent without the Framework underneath produces unreliable results. We have not seen exceptions.
How customizable is the Framework?
Fully. The structure is fixed. The content is yours. We supply placeholder content tagged for substitution, and a controlled amendment process so every change carries a discrete history entry and authority reference.
What does the Agent run on?
Microsoft Copilot Studio, deployed inside your tenant. Microsoft Teams is the primary delivery surface. SharePoint embedding is supported with appropriate DLP exception handling. The agent runs under your identity, security, and compliance posture.
Licensing & pricing
Why is pricing not published?
Because every adoption is sized differently. The volume of content to migrate and the chosen support level materially change the engagement. Public price lists are misleading at this scale. We respond to pricing requests within five business days with a tier recommendation and a quote.
What are the three ways to work with Clearline?
License, Install, and Run With Us. License: the licensee does the work, using the release package and build guides; for PMOs with internal capability to deploy the standards themselves. Install: Clearline Advisors does the work in the licensee's tenant; for PMOs that want the bench to run the deployment. Run With Us: Clearline Advisors as an ongoing operating partner; for PMOs that want the bench as a continuous operating partner. See Tiers.
IP & data
Who owns customer-authored content?
The customer. Clearline licenses the structure, the patterns, and the placeholder content. Anything the customer authors inside the framework is the customer's intellectual property.
Where does customer data sit?
In the customer's Microsoft 365 tenant. Clearline does not host customer content. We provide patterns and tooling that operate inside the customer's environment.
Does Clearline use customer data for training?
No. The product does not include any model training pipeline. The Agent is a retrieval-grounded configuration over the customer's corpus.
Company
Who builds Clearline?
Clearline Advisors, a dba of Enterprise Cognition Systems Labs LLC. NexLayer Labs is the architecture initiative inside the same parent entity.
